Well, after spending a relaxing Spring Break with some dear old friends, its time for school again.

Weird though, it feels like a lull. Like nothing is really going on, but at the same time, something big may go down. In other words, it feels like a good time for something random to happen...

Anyways, speaking of random things, I recently entered a BRAWL tournament. It was a One on One, single elimination, 2 stock tournament...Final Destination only. Well, they only had us pick one character and keep that character for the entire tournament. Feeling ready and fully trained against the plethora of Pit's and Marth's that were bound to show, I randomly chose Kirby.

Long story short, I didn't face a single Pit or Marth (bleh...) and end up getting knocked out by a decent Fox player around quarter finals. My friend however was successful enough to clinch Third place with Snake. So all in all, a fun tournament, but maybe next time I go Bowser.

With that said, I still welcome any BRAWL matches online.

Also, I've been getting some great ideas for drawing recently, but I haven't had the time or determination to sit down and draw them. Hopefully within the next week or so I can start posting something.

Yeah I have STD sickness...Smashing Till Dawn sickness XD

So yeah, in lue of my last journal, I did pretty decently in the 50th Shonen Jump Tourney, getting a 3-0 record against a Monarch, DDT, and Magical Explosion Deck. Finished off with a 3-2 record before dropping out. But not before getting my complimentary 50th anniversary Game Mat! XD

Anyways, yeah back to Smash...been up for 2 days straight playing Brawl. And I am gonna take this time to challenge anyone who wants to play...If you wanna match me, you can reach me through AIM or leave me a note giving me a date and time to play. Haha, my apologies to everyone for not being so active lately on this site...I've really been working on school stuffs, not to mention juggling random activities in between.

But that doesn't mean I haven't done any works! I tried to find the time to do what I could in between, and I think this little break I took got my drawing blood going again! XD

Anyways, to catch up on things...

This weekend...March 8, 2008 marks some of the momentous occasions in Geekdom history. First off, it goes without saying, but SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL is out for U.S. release at midnight that night, and I for one am counting down the seconds!
And second, that day will also mark the 50th Yugioh Shonen Jump Championship Tournament, and our little team is going to participate! Wish us luck as we will be trying our best to get as close as we can to the Card encrusted Trophy for first place! Hell even if we don't get far, it'll still be a blast...

So hence this not so random journal name...Danmaku Overdrive! This week will be full random things we'll have to dodge, and at the end of it, the final boss...15 hours of Yugioh, with a possible 12 rounds of actual dueling. Then the extra stage, where we pick up BRAWL after the tournament and hit an all-nighter killing Marths! Its gonna be a rough week so we're gonna need every "Life" and "bomb" we have survive. And hopefully, by the end of it all, we will come out victorious! If you have no idea what I am talking about, just picture someone trying to dodge all this [link]

January 31.....

It has officially begun. The days of reckless and anxious waiting is over...Melee has past into legend, and from its remains springs BRAWL...

What catastrophic events will spring from this new found oppurtunity? What new legends will be formed? What old ones will fall? Who will be the next "Ken?"

Yes, SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL is out in Japan. And so much hype had been built. And although this will feel like a completely new game, some old traits from Melee just couldn't help but be carried over.

That is why I have made a pact. A pact to do my best to eliminate Marth. No offense to any staunch Marth advocates, but to those who have played Melee actively know the potential he contains. His potential has only grown in Brawl, and I for one won't let him dominate so easily again...

So to anyone who agrees (or know what the hell I'm talking about) I implore you to join this cause. But if you so choose to main Marth, be warned...I will fight with everything I have against you...
